Construction around the VDC

Due to construction of the Nebraska Center for Virology, access to the VDC has changed. Please see the map below. The red line is our temporary fence. The blue line is existing fence that will remain during construction. The dashed green line is the temp access road.

Large Animal Deliveries:

Follow Fair street to the rock covered temporarily access road that encircles the construction area. Once on the concrete laboratory apron, backup to the south end of the dock next to the small corral area. Follow the signs to the far north door on (right end) the dock and enter. Go down the hall to the first hallway headed left and go through the door and then continue on to the front window.

Small Animals, Biopsies or Other Specimens:

Temporary Change: As of Monday, April 23, the entrance to the VDC "client parking area" will be closed for approximately 10-14 days. Parking for any deliveries and/or clients will be available on the north side of the VBS building. Enter any door and follow signs to the VDC. Go on in to the reception area and check in your specimens/samples.
